We had a fantastic stay at the Country House Tokastathir Guest House. the price was affordable and the owner even gave us a discount when we booked. We had full use of the house facilities, including the kitchen and even an outside shower. the human experience was wonderful, as we got to meet and interact with a true Icelander and his lovely animals. the location was perfect, with beautiful nature surroundings and only a short distance from amenities in Egilsstadir. We even had the opportunity to walk the owner's dog in the nearby forest and saw two lakes across from the house. we highly recommend this country house for a memorable stay. Cons: Nothing. All aspects of our stay were excellent! 😊.
